This is an example of a simple electrical system based on the Blue Sea Safety Hub 150.

The picture above shows the entire system – very simple.

The item in the center is the BlueSea Safety Hub 150, which is the heart of the system.

The red wires coming out of the top of the hub in the picture go to the smaller load 12 volt appliances such as the fridge, lights, furnace, and ventilation fan. Each on its own fuse inside the hub.

The wires serving the higher amperage loads come into the bottom of the hub. This includes the DC to DC charger, solar, and a future inverter.

The wire coming into the left side of the hub is the 12 volt supply from the house battery, which is at the bottom of the picture.

All of the negative return wires from the various circuits come into the right side of the hub.

Dave did a great job of labeling the wire runs, which makes future work on the system much easier

The single 206 amp-hour LiFePo4 battery is at the bottom of the above picture.

The Kisae DMT 1250 combines a DC to DC charger for alternator charging with a solar charge controller for solar charging.

Thanks to Dave for providing the pictures!
